Disc Golf

I love disc golf...
It is a sport that anyone can do. Dosen't take much skill, you don't even have to keep score. It is like Golf but you use different frisbees according to the wind and/or distance , I like to choose mine by the color of the frisbee or the name such as sniper, the storm, rattler... there also is a different shaped frisbee to putt with. So you should have at least one driver and one putter, it is also a good idea to bring an extra driver in case one gets lost in the trees, tall grass or lands in a water hazard. The best part of the game is walking around on the course, it usaually has many hills and valleys, trees, ponds... Also at most courses it doesn't cost a penny to play. Here at Byrant Lake Park it did cost $3 a person, well worth it though, it is the best course I've been on and you can tell that they are going to be expanding, improving or changing it up a bit.
Shianna has her driver and putter. She was playing along very well,
although we did let her cheat.
This is the goal. It is a great sound to hear the chains rattle when I finally
reach the basket. The drive range is between 250-575 yards, most are par 3 or 4. It usaully takes myself 5-6 shots to get to the goal. It was pretty windy today and my first time on the course so I didn't count... It's great exercise and thats what counts.
This is Arturo's first time playing Disc Golf. He caught on really quickly.
The competor in me was really hoping it would have taken longer...
Shianna put her frisbee in all 18 goals. We did have to
let a couple groups play through.
This huge rock was at hole #16.
Shianna wouldn't sit still for our photo on the Rock, but we will
be back soon (maybe tomorrow?)
